The Tonner Ballet dolls are app. 16" tall with multiple articulated joints, including bending wrists. Dolls are sculpted with stationary 'en pointe' feet (one style is made with standard high heel arched fashion feet) and they feature a smaller bustline than traditional Tyler-style 16" fashion dolls. Please note that not all Tyler-style 16" outfits will fit the Ballet-style doll at the bustline. This bustline is also used in the Geisha dolls and Cinderella's Wicked Stepsister, Euphemia. Currently, the 'Emilie' head sculpt is used on all 16" dolls in the collection. In addition, please note the ‘Emilie’ character in the Tyler Wentworth® collection is made with the Tyler-style bustline; and it is not the same body type as those presented in the NYCB ballet doll collection. Dolls in the Tonner Ballet Collection are not associated with the New York City Ballet. |
